Tanya is an award winning screenwriter and director. Tanya’s screenplay, The Moths Will Eat Them Up, was selected by Screen Queensland for the RIDE Shorts Program in 2021. Tanya co-directed the film alongside Lusia Martiri, and it was selected for the Sydney Film Festival 2022 where it won the Dendy Award for Best Live Action Short, and the Rouben Mamoulian Award for Best Director. Tanya's script for The Moths Will Eat Them Up won the 2022 AWGIE in the short film category. The film was nominated for a 2022 AACTA Award..
Tanya knows the power of film and creative industries to entertain and inform. Always looking for opportunities to create positive change, Tanya knows the importance of planning for impact in writing and film-making.
Tanya champions diversity and inclusion in the creative and human services industries. This is evident in her screen work and consultant role on programs like the acclaimed R4Respect and Men4Respect programs where young people are the agents of change. Tanya has mentored and supported the young members of these teams to deliver peer-to-peer respectful relationships. She has supported their training; program development; access to funding and relationships with external stakeholders, including decision-makers, and digital media strategy.

Karen Struthers
Karen is a ‘go to’ person for ideas, strategy and impact. She is a well respected values-driven leader, writer and researcher. Karen is renowned for motivating others, and for strategising to tackle the next big issue, or the persistent issues in new and creative ways.
Karen’s career spans roles in human services practice, policy, research and advocacy in the NGO, university and government sectors, and as a Member of Parliament and Cabinet Minister. In 2016 Karen was awarded the Griffith University HDR Alumni of the Year.
